Data Security & Compliance
At Liberty Medcare, data protection is non-negotiable. We follow strict security protocols to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) and ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Secure U.S.-Based Data Center
100% of your data is hosted within the United States. We ensure the highest standards of data protection, reliability, and compliance.
The effective implementation of healthcare data security requires implementing cybersecurity measures to ensure healthcare data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. It must also include compliance with relevant regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Data Protection & Backup
- Our data center is fully integrated with a managed backup solution.
- Backup Schedule: Weekly full backups with daily incremental backups.
- Retention Policy: Two-week on-site retention.
- Physical Security: Facilities are protected with biometric access controls and 24×7×365 video
surveillance to prevent unauthorized entry.
High Availability & Network Reliability
Our infrastructure is designed for maximum uptime and resilience.
- Power: Enterprise-grade uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems safeguard against outages, voltage fluctuations, surges, spikes, and electrical noise.
- Cooling: N+2 redundant chiller architecture with multiple water sources ensures consistent temperature control across the facility.
- HVAC: Redundant HVAC systems with automatic failover and advanced air-handling units eliminate dust and airborne contaminants.
- Network: Supported by four independent Tier-1 transit providers, enabling seamless traffic rerouting and eliminating single points of failure. All providers are Dyn-ranked among the global top five.
Office & Physical Security Controls
- Access to office and operations areas is strictly limited to authorized personnel using badge access and biometric authentication.
- Continuous security camera monitoring is in place.
- Access logs and surveillance footage are retained for 30 days.
- USB ports are disabled on all systems to prevent unauthorized data transfer.
- Printers: Minimal printer usage; available only to HR and Finance teams, neither of which handle PHI. Printers are secured in restricted-access areas.
- Mobile Device Policy: Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in operational zones. Secure lockers are provided for device storage.
- Automatic Log-Out Policy: Group policies ensure that all browser cache and temporary files are automatically cleared upon user log-off to reduce privacy risks.
